This was my entry for Lauren Hom's HOMwork challenge, encouraging us to create our own versions of conversation hearts. I wanted to use this platform to have a conversation that we really should keep having - about empowering people and creating equal opportunity. I am really excited that Lauren featured this piece on her Instagram story!
The post had to be an Instagram post and we had a week to complete this challenge. I knew immediately that I wanted to create something really meaningful, and I love to work that's cheeky and edgy. I digitally illustrated this piece from scratch, taking inspiration from other Instagram artists as to make optimize views.
